Our Activities
For Association Professionals
Our knowledge session
Our events leverage our community's knowledge to answer our members' needs. We organise different types of events to cater to our community's needs in Brussels and beyond, through in-person workshops, panel discussions, webinars and an annual Masterclass. They constitute the opportunity of leaders and executives from a vast array of Association to meet and learn from peers in all aspects of Association management, from strategy and governance to communication and sustainability.

ESAE Communities of Practice
Our Communities of Practice let ESAE Members share ideas, best practices, and collaborate with professionals in their fields. These Communities cover various aspects of Association Management and are open to all ESAE Members. Members can join any Community they like and actively contribute by sharing knowledge, suggesting topics, and gaining insights from others.
For Association Leaders
Our Leadership Circle
Dedicated to Leaders (CEOs, Secretary General, etc.), it is a service to discuss management and strategic issues for Associations in Europe. Members benefit from events like workshops and seminars. They can also engage in knowledge sharing, propose new topics, and gain insights from their peers through our online platform.

The Association Leadership Survey Report
In 2023, our leadership circle worked in cooperation with our partners at Mavence to develop the first-ever comprehensive report on Association Leadership trends, covering diversity, compensation, leadership skills and career advancement patterns within Associations.
For the Association Community
The European Association Awards
The European Association Awards were launched in 2023 to recognize and reward outstanding projects within the Association Community. These awards highlight innovative initiatives and outstanding works from Associations teams in four categories: 'Impact,' 'Digital Communication,' 'Event Transformation,' and 'Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).' The aim is to share best practices and knowledge to strengthen the Association community, showcasing the efforts of those who usually stay out of the spotlight.
