About the Event

With Horizon Europe - expected to start on 1 January 2021 with a proposed budget of around €100 billion - the European Union intends to upscale the development and marketing of innovation that will provide European solutions to global challenges (e.g. climate change, air pollution, health problems, urban mobility).

Whilst the budget of Horizon Europe remains to be agreed upon between the European institutions, the European Commission has started to work on the strategic planning of the funding programme. The planning will lead to the definition of priority research areas and the allocation of funds for research and innovation on selected topics.

In this context, the webinar aims to introduce Horizon Europe to European associations and present how they can best address the definition of priority research areas and the allocation of EU funds in line with their ambitions in terms of research and innovation.

Speaker: Quentin Galland, Account Director European Affairs - Hague Corporate Affairs.

Moderator: Wouter Lox, Secretary General at AIJN and ESAE Advocacy Committee Co-Chair.
