About the Event
The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated discussions around the role of events. One trending discussion is about events as key drivers towards an association's vision and broader societal development, also known as the legacies of events. This session will provide an opportunity to get further clarity on the meaning of legacy, its value for different stakeholders and the importance of embedding legacy within your strategic planning moving forward.
Whilst events have always been considered a vital forum through which to bring association member communities together, association events if designed strategically and allow impactful synergies with local actors can provide far more positive benefits to the association and to the host communities.
