It is a common secret that the biggest headaches that an Association Leader can have are usually related to the management of their volunteer Leadership. Sketchy by-laws can oftentimes foster confusion about where the responsibility lies for each organisation body. Oversimplified or overcomplicated structures can be a source of mistrust, while strong personalities, conflicts of interest, and even cultural differences get in the play and make our work more challenging and less rewarding.

Oftentimes, it is not the volunteer leaders who are out of place, but the lack of structure or a clear knowledge of their obligations on behalf of the Association Leaders.
