Financial Literacy workshop for Association Boards & Management

Many Associations have a strategy, a budget and a set of KPIs, but too often these live in separate documents, owned by different people.

This half-day interactive workshop brings CEOs and their Board members together to examine how resources are aligned with strategic objectives, and how responsibility for financial oversight is shared between Board and office.

Building on governance models taught in the Executive Master in International Association Management (EMIAM), participants will work through the link between strategy, portfolio, programmes and projects, and how this translates into business planning, budgets and KPIs. The workshop covers the Board’s role in financial oversight, understanding the Association’s Business Model, reading a budget against strategic priorities and scenarios, forecasting and revenue related risks.
