Everyone loves good publicity but can you complain if they get it wrong, or go too far? What can you do? Have you ever wondered, are there any rules that apply to newspapers and digital sites, or does free media mean a free for all? What are the rules?
In this unique online event – only for ESAE – the leaders of the UK, Irish and Australian media complaint organisations will share their insights and experiences in self-regulation of media reporting. Hear stories from their lives walking the tightrope between media freedom and responsible journalism.
A must attend event for Chairs, CEOs, board members, executives, communication and public affairs specialists, who will have the opportunity to engage with the panelists and ask their questions.
Moderator:
John Pender, Executive Director, Australian Press Council
Speakers:
Charlotte Dewar, Chief Executive, UK Independent Press Standards Organisation
Peter Feeney, Press Ombudsman, Press Council of Ireland
