Leading, Managing and Innovating: Finding the Perfect Mix

Association leaders have the challenging task of creating and executing a strategy that meets the needs of various stakeholders like members, the board, and the staff. Besides that, they must take into account external trends and internal challenges while aligning their strategy with a changing world. This is especially difficult given the wide range of stakeholder expectations and their typical resistance to change. This co-creation session will address this issue hands-on by providing Association leaders with an opportunity to share their experience in defining and implementing a strategy, detailing the challenges they have faced, and working together to devise concrete solutions. They will be guided by a panel representing different facets of Associations: trade Associations, professional societies, Association management companies, both small and large. This is a great opportunity for Association leaders to learn from each other and come up with innovative solutions to the challenges they face.
