Associations’ criteria for choosing a destination for their Conferences and Events are evolving. Environment, Social, and Governance have been integrated in RFPs, with a special emphasis on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
Associations are becoming pickier based on the needs and values of their members, keeping in mind long-term Impact and the creation of Legacy.
In recent years, geopolitical instability has become an important parameter that Associations cannot afford to ignore. Congresses are cancelled, delegates are having difficulties with visas, costs are exploding, and connectivity is not a given.
These and many other aftereffects are causing Associations to rethink the ways they bring their Communities together, affecting the location, frequency, and format of their Conferences and Events.
