Finance Assistant

The European Cancer Organisation (ECO) is looking for an ambitious, energetic and enthusiastic Finance Assistant to work on a full-time basis, based in Brussels. The role will also require regular collaboration with the Policy, Operations and Communication Teams, as well as regular contact with our Focused Topic Networks, project partners, external stakeholders and suppliers. The working language of the organisation is English and the successful candidate will also be expected to be fluent in French for administrative inquiries. The Finance Assistant will already be living in Brussels and will report to the Operations and Systems Manager.

Education Content Specialist

The selected candidate will shape DIGITAL SME’s policy and advocacy strategies in collaboration with the Secretary-General and will strengthen the synergies between the association’s policy activities and project tasks, specifically by coordinating the activities of the Working Groups and will be a self-driven, experienced professional, willing to take the initiative and able to manage a wide variety of tasks. The EU Policy Director will report directly to the Secretary-General and coordinate the association’s team in all policy-related matters.

It needs a highly motivated and hands-on Administration and Finance Officer to strengthen their Brussels-based team! The selected candidate will manage the administration and bookkeeping of the Organisation, with a specific focus on the financial reporting of a variety of EU-funded projects, such as Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, EC grants and service contracts, etc.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter able to manage various tasks. A demonstrable track record of previous experience in EU project financial reporting is required.

Policy Officer

The role will also require regular collaboration with the Policy, Operations and Communication Teams, as well as regular contact with our Member Societies and Patient Advisory Committee.

The successful candidate will be supporting the teams of both organisations on policy, monitoring and advocacy activity during an exciting period for EU cancer policy in the context of the developing EU Cancer Mission and Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan. The successful candidate will be expected to provide a particular role in supporting ECO’s policy activities on digital health and workforce policy.

The EU Projects Communication Officer will work closely with the EU Projects Officer who leads all on-going and prospective EU projects (Horizon Europe, EU4Health, and other EU funding mechanisms).
