EVENT REPORT
In November 2022, the European Union (EU) adopted a new law mandating gender balance on corporate boards, setting ambitious targets for equality in gender representation. To meet these goals, the private sector has already begun to reshape its governance structures. This shift is reflected in Associations, where diversity in their governance tends to go hand-in-hand with the diversity in their membership. This means that the imperative for diverse and inclusive governance structures is no longer an option: it is essential for your Association’s success and efficiency.

This report compiles the insights from our session, 'Enhancing Diversity: Lessons from the For-Profit' designed by Liesbeth Switten and performed by Hedwige Nuyens. It delves into the broad topic of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and offers actionable insights for Associations aiming to thrive in an ever-evolving landscape.
